Kevin Taylor was appointed as a Board Director at Al Hilal Bank in 2019. He has more than 40 years of global experience in banking and finance and has held significant executive positions in global organisations, such as Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), American Life Insurance Co. (ALICO), Citigroup, Westpac Bank and Merrill Lynch.
Kevin is currently Chairman of NMC’s Board of Directors and serves as Chairman of ADCB Securities Board of Directors. Previously, he served as a member of the Gulf Capital Board of Directors.
Having worked with ADCB for 13 years as Group Treasurer and Head of Investments, Kevin was responsible for all the Bank’s financial markets and proprietary investments activities and personnel, as well as the Bank’s balance sheet analytics team. He chaired the Bank’s Asset & Liability Committee and was a member of the Credit Risk and Controls Committee. Prior to joining ADCB, Taylor was an Executive Director and Group Chief Risk Officer of American Life Insurance Co. (ALICO).
In addition to these roles, he served as a member of the ALICO UK Supervisory Board, and AIG’s Micro Finance Board. Kevin earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Risk Management from NYU Stern Business School, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor of Economics (BEc) from Latrobe University.
Non-Executive Director Ahmed Al Rayes
Ahmed brings has over 21 years of extensive experience in the banking sector. Previously, he has held key positions at Dubai Islamic Bank and Emirates Islamic Bank. Since joining ADCB in 2011, he has been an integral part of the ADCB's growth and success. His combination of practical experience and commitment to excellence makes him a valuable asset to ADCB.
Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Dubai University in addition to his IT Diploma and specialisations from Germany / Karlsruhe University enabling him to adapt to the evolving digital banking landscape.
Ahmed's leadership and expertise continue to drive ADCB's innovative and collaborative initiatives. This has resulted in his appointment as the Head of Excellency Services at ADCB where he demonstrates exceptional leadership skills and deep understanding of the banking evolving environment. The Excellency Services team has achieved new heights in delivering top-tier services to the ADCB's clients.
Non-Executive Director Ahmed Maher Al Hakim
Ahmad Maher is currently heading Strategic Clients Group at ADCB, where he leverages over 24 years of experience in senior management positions, including Head of Private Accounts & Strategic Private clients. With a strong back ground in Corporate credit, business acquisition and establishing new unit.
Ahmad is a stalwart expert in Real Estate financing & Share lending, navigating complex exposures with astute UHNI and corporate clients. Throughout his career, Ahmad has demonstrated leadership in enhancing customer experience, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving growth across the banking operations, customer journey, digital channels, with a total of 24 years in banking sector.
Ahmad holds a Bachelor's Degree in Science specializing in Finance from North Eastern University, USA.
Non-Executive Director Khalid al Mentheri
With over 20 years of experience across corporate, consumer, and investment banking, Khalid has led key client relationships and delivered complex financing solutions across sectors. He is known for his strategic mindset, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional leadership. As a board member of ADCB Securities, he is focused on expanding institutional reach, driving innovation, and elevating client engagement across public markets. Khalid holds an MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Essex.
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Nabil Juma
Nabil Juma joined ADCB in September 2009 as the head of Strategic Relations and Brokerage, enhancing the brokerage business and developing stronger relationships with key shareholders, regulators and major clients.
Currently, he is the Executive Head of Private Banking overseeing private banking acquisition, brokerage and capital markets functions. Prior to ADCB Nabil held multiple senior positions at First Gulf Bank (FGB) and Emirates International Investment Company (EIIC), he represented the company on the boards of several local and regional Investment Banks and brokerage firms, including:
- Prime Holding- Egypt
- Prime Emirates- Abu Dhabi, UAE
- Emirates International Investment Company- Egypt
Nabil has held a Bachelor degree in accounting and an MBA since 1998. In 2019, he completed his PHD in Business Administration from the Swiss Business School in Zurich, Switzerland.
